Sketches

I recently went to a fundraiser crop to do some of my own scrapping and I felt like I was drawing a blank when it came to designing my own pages. Luckily I printed out some of Allison Davis’ sketches and it got the ball rolling. I actually completed about 8 or 9 double page spreads using her sketches. Ribbon Storage

I have finally tackled all my ribbon! I got the idea from Donna Downey, I just fell in love with it! It’s so creative and perfect for ribbon!
I found the wire mannequin at Hobby Lobby and just tied all the ribbons by color scheme around all the loops on the mannequin. Of course mine doesn’t look as fabulous as hers but it does the job! Here’s mine….

Newspaper Roses

I am loving the look of word print flowers and have come across these on the Glue Arts blog. Check out the finished product and instructions on how to make them by clicking on the link. Designer Linda Albrecht came up with these cute flowers using newspaper print! Great idea for recycling old newspapers. You can use these on home decor items, altered art and mini books and so much more!
